Welcome to femfilm.ca, the Canadian Women Film Directors Database. This bilingual research tool contains bibliographies, filmographies, quotations, and other information about Canadian women directors and their films. You can browse the database by director, film title, film year, or film category. You can also search for specific directors or films (by director name, film title, film length, etc.). The database was created in 2007 by Margaret Fulford, a librarian at the University of Toronto. It currently contains the names of 940 directors and more detailed information about 105 directors, and it will continue to grow. For more information, please see About the Database.
