"The Investigation deals with the tumultuous events surrounding the RCMP's quest for Canada's most notorious serial killer, Clifford Olson. In 1981, Olson was considered the principal suspect by two young officers, each investigating separate cases. However, due to crossed wires and jurisdictional chaos, he was allowed to continue his murderous rampage until he was finally arrested and imprisoned. The Investigation is told primarily through the eyes of the two officers, Corporal Les Forsythe portrayed by Nick Lea [...] and Corporal Darryll Kettles, played by Lochlyn Munro [...]."
