Film Description:
"Once a champion boxer, then a fiery preacher, T.C. Douglas got into politics during the 1930s and never looked back. His career as premier of Saskatchewan and leader of the federal New Democratic Party was a rollercoaster ride of victories and defeats. Douglas was a highly principled proponent of social justice; his radical reforms—such as medicare—are now accepted as normal public policy in Canada. The film traces Douglas's fifty-year political career and captures the unique spirit of the man."
