Film Description:
"A film record of the evacuation of a sector of the city of Calgary as an exercise in its civil defense program. We are shown some of the meticulous block-by-block, house-by-house, person-by-person planning that preceded the operation, then the orderly withdrawal of population upon receipt of the warning signal and, finally, the care of displaced persons at reception centres some miles from the city. The whole operation is related to the coordinated local, provincial and national planning that would need to be in effect in the event of aerial attack on this country."
