"Explains how scientific research within the North American steel industry has brought to life abandoned ore deposits in the Ottawa Valley with promise of future prosperity for many people in the area. Describes how steelmen extract high grade ore from low grade magnetic ores by using crushing operation and a magnetic separation process. Explains that since 1958 the Hilton Mines have produced high grade ore pellets for steel mills and have contributed to the industrial progress of North America."
