I Like Movies -- Film Description:
"Lawrence Kweller is a highly ambitious teenage cinephile living in the suburbs of Toronto in the year 2003. Wracked with anxiety about his future Lawrence gets a job at the corporate video store Sequels in his last year of high school to save money for his dream of attending film school at NYU. As his dream begins to feel further and further out of reach Lawrence takes out his frustrations on his best friend Matt Macarchuck, his single mother Terri, and his store manager Alana. As all of his relationships become increasingly strained he begins to come to a painful realization: that he might just be a pretentious asshole. Chandler Levack's delightful feature debut is smart, funny, full of heart, and puts Levack on the map as a Canadian filmmaker to watch."
