"This work features a cycle of stories drawn from and recorded following a visit to the Western Front, an artist-run centre in Vancouver, B.C. Each story forms a thread in a larger collective narrative which Frenkel has turned into an account, both complex and playful, of a particular place and time, while simultaneously subverting standard assumptions regarding the format of story-telling which is both her subject and vehicle."
