Description du film [en anglais] : « The film offers a look at several women who have pursued careers in non-traditional fields such as auto mechanics, plumbing, television repair, and carpentry. The film follows four women who have chosen these trades and asks them why and how they moved into technical careers. Each subject expresses their reasons which might be an interest in cars, or an appreciation for working outdoors and all agree that the 'Pre-Trades Training Program' helped them acquire the knowledge and skills needed to make the move into a technical position. » -- Library and Archives Canada (source) |
