Film Description: "Suzie, 58, lost her daughter when the girl was kidnapped by her North African father. Twenty years later, now a recluse and insomniac who drives a night taxi, Suzie has lost all hope of finding Myriam. One Hallowe'en, in the taxi, a young woman abandons her 10-year-old boy with an address and $50. After Suzie finds the parents, that seem incapable of looking after their autistic son, she decides to take care of him herself. But, once at the airport, the boy has a seizure and Suzie is forced to abandon her plans and return the boy to his parents. Loneliness engulfs Suzie once again, but not for long, because Myriam is trying to find her." -- Telefilm Canada (source) |
