L'Est pour toujours --
Description du film [en anglais] :
« Compared stylistically to the Up series by Michael Apted, East End Forever finds Carole Laganière revisiting the original group of children profiled in her 2003 film East End Kids. She looks back at the dreams they shared as children and follows up on where their lives have taken them. Not all of the journeys that the kids find themselves on are easy ones, and these are not always stories with happy endings. This is a film about reality and resilience that is told with great empathy. It is a rare opportunity to see how lives are shaped by a complex matrix of circumstances with such artistry and detail. It doesn't always work out the way we hope, but hope remains in even the most unlikely places. »
