The Matchless Six --
Description du film [en anglais] :
« Two factory workers, a business college student, a legal secretary, and two high school students made up the group of athletes who forever opened Canada's sports doors to women. Tagged 'The Matchless Six,' after setting three world records at the Olympic trials in Halifax, they ran. jumped and threw their way to win the women's overall competition at the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam—the first time women were allowed to compete in track and field. The Matchless Six takes the viewer back to an era when the lure of dollars and endorsements was nonexistent—when just being allowed to compete was victory enough. »
