Description du film [en anglais] :
« [Hot Docs] Festival favourite Alethea Arnaquq-Baril uses super slow-motion to magnify the incredible skill and physicality of Johnny Issaluk, an Inuit games athlete, as he performs the one-foot high kick event. Taking off from one foot, Issaluk leaps into the air to tap a sealskin target dangling high above his head-with his toes. »

Description du film [en anglais] :
« An ancient test of athleticism and skill is dramatically and sensuously portrayed in this 2 minute short film. Johnny Issaluk, a long-time Inuit games athlete from Chesterfield Inlet who now lives in Nunavut's capital of Iqaluit, shows the viewer how truly awe-inspiring the one-foot high kick event is. In super slow-motion, Johnny jumps several feet into the air, kicks a seal skin target, and lands on the same foot he kicked with, never losing control or balance. »
