Quote:
"With little fuss—and virtually no fanfare—producer Douglas Leiterman last night aired his hour-long documentary, 'Youth: In Search of Morality.' This was the program that had more than its share of woe over a period of nearly two years in the making. The climax occurred three weeks ago when a story broke that director Beryl Fox got carried away shooting one sequence and had kept the cameras rolling when her crew found two boys in bed with a girl. In the silly outrage that followed, Leiterman and his staff worked around the clock editing the film, hoping to show it as the next-to-last offering in the period occupied by 'This Hour Has Seven Days.' But CBC management said no to that idea. Last night during the same time period, on a summer documentary series called 'The Human Camera,' the film was at last put on public view. Significantly, the executive producer of the series is Beryl Fox."
