Quote:
"The influence of direct cinema is clearly seen in some of the sequences in [Souris tu m'inquiètes], particularly in the first two scenes. While the children appear to be addressing the camera while answering the director's questions, the radio show is filmed live, allowing the spectators to witness at the same time the debate between the show's guests and its listeners. The third and the fourth scenes are the more obviously scripted. The result mixes improvisation with the rehearsed quality preferred by the actresses [Micheline] Lanctôt and [Luce ] Guilbault, who nevertheless manage to incorporate their own savoir-faire into their respective performances."
