"Mother Earth is a short, evocative, poetic film that celebrates life on our planet. This documentary film looks at the reality of human beings; the earth is our home and we are profoundly connected to all other beings. Powerful references to the forces that threaten the earth and all its inhabitants offer us points for reflection. Haunting visual images selected from 50 years of NFB productions, accompanied by stirring music composed by Loreena McKennitt, speak without words to all people."
