Film Description:
"In 2010, Carol Kunnuk followed the Nunavut Quest, a dog team race, from Pond Inlet to Clyde River. She documented the young woman Denise Malliki from Repulse Bay going through 8 days of racing in the wonderful snowy land of Eastern Baffin Island, through hills and valleys. Denise talks about her experience as a woman musher, how she learned and how she enjoys it. Other mushers share the importance of this tradition for their culture. The film follows the pace of the race and the daily activities of the mushers."
