Film Description: "Violinist Jessica Moss and singer-guitarist Efrim Menuck struggle to balance parenthood and their lives as working musicians in the Montreal band Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra. Theirs is one of a growing number of groups to go on tour with a baby in tow. It has never been harder for musicians to earn a living: the Internet has undermined the music industry's economics, and constant touring is now essential to economic survival. Can the young couple and child successfully combine family life with a lengthy tour playing socially conscious post-rock for audiences around the world?" -- Québec Cinéma (source) |
