"Through the use of pixilation, this zany film introduces strange characters and happenings. [...] The New Cinema Festival, Montreal [...] commissioned Plastic Dreams. It opened the festival in 1988 and appeared at the beginning of each sequence of films during the festival. It was later turned into a complete film with titles."
