Nos hommes dans l'Ouest --
Film Description:
"On paper, they're magnificent projects and a benefit to all. But on the ground, things aren't so rosy. By recording the thoughts and comments of several men who left home to work on projects like the tar-sands near Fort McMurray, Alberta, as well as meeting their families who stayed behind in places like the Acadian Peninsula, Renée Blanchar examines the human and social costs of these megaprojects. Especially the costs that their advocates prefer not to think about but that nonetheless have a real impact on people's lives, culture and land."
