Gabrielle -- Film Description:
"Young and musically gifted, Gabrielle lives in a home with four other adults who, like her, are intellectually challenged. She is smitten with a boy she met at the leisure centre where they are in a choir made up of people with disabilities. The couple would like to consummate their love but they are told firmly that their romance is a matter that also concerns their families and the social workers. While the choir is preparing for an important music festival, Gabrielle dreams of independence and autonomy but has to face her own limitations and her ignorance about the outside world."
