- Studied at Mansfield Art College, Lanchester Polytechnic, and the
National Film and Television School, where she met Canadian David Fine,
her future collaborator and husband.
- Moved to Canada after finishing film school, to work at the National Film
Board.
- Co-creator (with David Fine) of the animated television series 'Bob and
Margaret,' in which she also acted (as the voice of Margaret).
